Anyone play Shadow of Destiny?

If so, is it any good? Thinking of renting this or something..... got pretty good reviews but I haven't seen it being mentioned even once in any single forum.

I liked it. If I'm not mistaken it was the exact same production team's project after creating the original Silent Hill. It shows, because a lot of it is you running around. Time Travel concepts are always fun, aren't they?

Since you basically have to be everywhere at once in order to figure out what you need to change in the past to save yourself, the game is kind of novel in the way it actually encourages you to die all the time!

Playing each chapter over and over again a la Groundhog Day until you get it right may sound boring, but your character also remembers everything, not just you, so the dialogue in all the cutscenes will change each time you play through. (It actually gets pretty funny: I recall my character getting cocky after meeting the same woman for the umpteenth time - "I bet I can guess your name in one try."

In order to fully understand what is going on you have to complete the game several times for different endings, but you may be sick of the game before going for a replay, but I found it to be worth the week-long rental I had it for.

If you can live with the fact that it's about 5 hours long and has practically no gameplay to speak of, you may be able to appreciate this game because the story is really engaging.
