phish is awesome. i still don't like the live in vegas DVD. but they are one of my top bands ever.

Huge phan here, as you can probably tell from my username. led's on crack, the Vegas DVD is awesome. I can't freaking wait for that Walnut Creek 97 dvd to come out though (August 5).

Welcome to RT dude! I almost never see anyone mention Phish around here, it was really cool to load up the front page and see this thread.

Yeah they WERE pretty good back in the day. I used be crazy about them from 2001-2004. I loved all their albums from Junta-Farmhouse and everyone I hung out with loved them too. The only other bands I would listen to were String Cheese Incident and Tool. I was so excited when they reunited so I could see them in concert here in Kansas and they played all sorts of greats like Divided Sky and Run Like an Antelope.

Then Round Room came out and I was all like WTF is this crap. So then I never listened to them again and never will (I got burntout cause Id listen to at least 10 of their songs a day for 4 years.

I admit they were the best concert band of the 90's as the film Bittersweet Motel proves but I just really never wanna think about them ever again.

I can't stand Jam Bands at all anymore. I guess it was just a phase.

i like A Song I Heard the Ocean Sing. Scents and Subtle Sounds is pretty good too. overall i think it sounds flat though and the production is awful. there were some good songs on Round Room too, just recorded poorly, stuff like 46 days and 7 below and pebbles and marbles really became great live songs though
