Hot Discussion: Zero Boys DVD

(Press Release) ¨C January 12, 2009 ¨C Gnome Park Productions are proud to announce the upcoming release of "Live at the Pizza Castle" by the Midwest punk legends, Zero Boys on February 17th, 2009. This performance taped in October of 1981, surfaced in 2008 after being "lost" for over 27 years and the video and audio has been enhanced and restored. The band performs songs off their then soon to be released essential debut punk album "Vicious Circle", as well as cuts off their classic "Livin' In The 80's" EP. When the Ramones lost it, the Zero Boys found it, adding a slam brigade fist to the Blitzrieg Beat. This show is the only way to see the band like they were during the release of "Vicious Circle".

This looks amazing and filmed when I would say they were at their best musically. It's like an 80's hardcore show meets an 80's Top of the Pops appearance! If people danced like that on stage at punk shows these days I think it would make them an altogether more fun place to be! - George Zorran

If you haven't seen the video you should really check it out. It is actually pretty high quality and the song selection totally rules. They even play some songs off of the first 7" and the cassette tape that didn't make it to the DVD that has already been released. - Frankie Teardrop
