Hot Discussion: i miss g4 game programming

i really miss the days when g4 had tons of video game shows. sure they were not all awesome shows but now it has been reduced to cops reruns and Japanese programming.

I miss TechTV.

I remember reading this awesome article about the super old Tech TV and how they basically ****ed it up with those digg guys.

I watch Reviews on the Run, everything else can suck it.

G4 is a joke. Who the hell decided that cops and cheaters reruns are what the network needed?

G4 guys haaate it when you tell them they ruined TechTV.

I like G4 slightly more now. It used to be all horrible video game shows. Now when I'm bored at least there's a greater chance of COPS being on.

I used to watch Attack of the Show, but I haven't had G4 for almost a year now. I saw an episode of it the other night, and now I don't really miss it. It went from awesome (blonde co-host, can't remember her name), to bad ("urban" set style), to unbearable (hey, Kevin knows about 4chan! desu lol).

I like Attack of the Show and XPlay has gotten much better since they changed formats and started airing new shows every day. Code Monkeys is actually growing on me a bit too. Sometimes I'll even sit down with some Ninja Warrior or Unbeatable Bansuke. Other than that, everything else on G4 is pretty disposable. I mean, they just introducted Hurl!, a game show about vomit. How much more juvenile could they get?

I still look for episodes of Game Makers, which they seem to air at random at 9 a.m. every other month or so.

No matter how you feel about G4 right now I think its safe to say that Olivia Munn is ****ing hot.

Otherwise, sounds like the channel is just as bad as it was when it took TechTV away. That move was a major reason I canceled my subscription and have never went back to satellite. Still crying over my beloved Screen Savers and Call for Help. Best few hours of the day at the time. .

LOST and COPS? Computers!! Gaming!!! LOSt! COPs!!!



Back when I had G4 and it was all gaming stuff, I hated how frequent the reruns were. It seemed like I caught stuff I've seen before more than actual new episodes.

TechTV was MUCH better.
